David H. Moy

David H. Moy Sr., 65, of Stroudsburg, passed away on Saturday October 17, 2015 at the Pocono Health Systems Hospice House. He was the loving husband of Peggy "Suzanne" (Larneard) Moy, they were married May 20, 1983. Born April 1, 1950 in Manhattan, New York, the son of the late David Moy and the late June Reebe. He was a resident of Monroe County for the past 17 years and prior to that of Staten Island, New York. He was a proud veteran serving in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement, he worked for Benjamin Moore Paint Co in Newark, NJ, he also worked at Larocca’s Pizza on Staten Island. While living in Stroudsburg he owned and operated his own scrap business. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 3 children, Jessica Moy-Huff and her husband Jacob of Effort; Lauren Moy and David H. Moy Jr. of Stroudsburg; his nephew Bobby Elliott of Stroudsburg; fellow Marine Steven Chaplar of Stroudsburg; and devoted friend Angela Sinker of Stroudsburg. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 21, 2015 at 11:00am at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, with Pastor Margie Good officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Stroudsburg Cemetery. There will be a viewing on Tuesday October 20, 2015 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and on Wednesday October 21, 2015 from 10:00am until the time of the services at the funeral home. At the request of the family, live plants instead of flowers, are preferred
