David Michael Connors Profile Photo
  1. David Michael Connors, age 73, of Bartonsville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully
  2. at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown PA, on 3/19/26. He was a cherished
  3. father, loving brother and loyal friend. His presence was deeply felt by the many closest
  4. to him and he will be greatly missed.
  5. Dave was born on 1/30/53, to Vincent Bernard and Edith Mae Connors in The Cornwall
  6. Hospital, Cornwall, N.Y. He and his four siblings grew up in Ridgebury, N.Y. and
  7. graduated from the Minisink Valley Central School District. He attended college at Utah
  8. State University, but most of his learning experiences were grounded in the heating
  9. industry where he learned from the ground up, retiring as the Sales manager for the
  10. western U.S. and all of Canada for Patterson-Kelley, LLC, specializing in commercial
  11. boilers and related products.
  12. Dave’s life was shaped by the rural environment he grew up in. One of his fondest
  13. memories was when he and his father managed the Foster dairy farm while the owner
  14. recovered from injuries. Dave spoke with great satisfaction about how he bonded with
  15. his father, a former farmer.
  16. As an avid outdoorsman, he cherished having his son, Luke, tag along with him during
  17. hunting trips and introducing his daughter, Aubrey, to fishing. He anticipated his
  18. Adirondack hunting and fishing trips with his brother, Vince. He was a duffer golfer but
  19. looked forward to his annual golfing trip to Jacksonville, Florida to golf with his brother-
  20. in-law, Charles Deese and visit with his sister, Charlie.
  21. One thing Dave had in abundance was a sense of humor. When he, his brother Vince,
  22. and sister Diane gathered, everyone else was fair game. They may not have invented
  23. the comedic roast, but they sure did perfect it. In the accompanying photo, look at that
  24. smile of his. It will warm your heart and flood your mind with good memories. If looking
  25. at the picture, you find yourself kinder, less judgmental, and more caring of others, you
  26. are closer to God as Dave knew Him and have helped fulfill his legacy.
  27. In contrast, Dave openly professed to working at forgiveness and being tolerant of
  28. others’ human flaws. While there are too many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and
  29. nephews to mention specifically here, be assured that family mattered greatly to Dave.
  30. A recent personal satisfaction of his was his visits to NYS to visit his Aunt Mary, his
  31. father’s last living sibling. That meant a lot to him and came with the added benefit of
  32. reconnecting with the Thompson side of the family. During the last 10 months of his life,
  33. he spent hours on the phone with brother Vince and sister Charlie, supporting each
  34. other.
  35. Dave is survived by his son Luke Connors, daughter Aubrey Connors, brothers Vince
  36. (Janice) Connors, Andrew (Pam) Connors and Sister Charlie Connors Deese (
  37. Charles).
  38. Dave was predeceased by his parents and sister Diane Barton (Chuck).
  39. Funeral services will be held at Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 N Fifth St,
  40. Stroudsburg, PA 4/3/26 from 11 am with burial in the Stroudsburg cemetery burial at 2 pm.
