David Allen Novack

David Allen Novack, 67, of Henryville, passed away on Wednesday October 11, 2023 at his home. He was the husband of Valerie (Widdoss) Novack, they were married for 20 years, but were together for over 40 years.

Born November 25, 1955, in Paterson, New Jersey, the son of the late Eugene and Helen (Ace) Novack. He was a lifetime resident of Monroe County.

Dave was a member of the Moose Lodge 1336, AARP and the Model A Ford Club of America.

Prior to his retirement he owned and operated Joe’s Texaco for 13 years. He also worked for K & L Motors under the Perrys’ and then under the Schliers’

In addition, to his wife, Dave is survived by his siblings, Thomas Hallowood of Wapping Falls, New York, James L. Novack of McMichaels, Fred Novack of Florida, William Novack of Rutherford, New Jersey, Jerry Novack of East Stroudsburg, Robert Novack of Madison Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews.

Dave was predeceased by his daughter Kathleen Novack and his siblings Edward Hallowood, Gerald Hallowood, Francis Hallowood, Ellen Teppee, Lawrence John Novack, Eugene Novack, Patricia Mims, and Michael Novack.

Memorial funeral services will be held on Monday October 23, 2023, at 2:30pm at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg, with Pastor Margie Good officiating.

There will be a visitation from 1:00pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Burial of his cremated remains will be at the convenience of the family in the Sandhill Cemetery, Shoemakers.
