He was predeceased by his son Jeffrey S. Warner DDS and his brother William H. Warner. A lifelong resident of Stroudsburg, he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He served our country for 4 years in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict then returned to begin his life back home. He worked for what was then the Bell Telephone Company for many years prior to entering into the family business, Laurel Beverage. He and his brothers Leon and William assumed ownership of the business following the retirement of their father, Horace who started the business. Despite a busy life, family always came first but he always found time for others as well. One of his most rewarding passions was Little League Baseball where he coached for over 15 years long after his sons had left the game. Darrel was not just fun loving but funny as well. He not only loved to tell the jokes but laughed just as hard when the jokes were played on him for the entertainment of others. His laugh and warm smile will be remembered and missed by many. A special thank you to Dr. Jeffrey Bair and all of the medical professionals who’ve cared for him over the years.
