Cody “Hunny” Scott Bensel  November 26, 2016  Cody “Hunny” Scott Bensel, of East Stroudsburg passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016.  He was 29 years young.  Cody was born on October 27, 1987 in East Stroudsburg PA, the son of Sandy (Steimer)Turner and his stepfather Cory Turner and the late Mark Bensel. Cody was a resident of the East Stroudsburg area his entire life.  He graduated from East Stroudsburg High School, class of 2006.  Cody strived for nothing but the best out of life and expected nothing but that in everything he did. Shawnee Mountain was his home every winter, where he groomed making fresh tracks to corduroy perfection. He created his own landscaping business, Caring for Nature, making certain that landscapes were flawless and lawns were like velvet cut at the perfect 45. Cody truly cared for nature as if he was the one who created it. Cody loved spending time in the outdoors, whether it be hunting, fishing, or mowing grass, he had to be outside.  Cody loved teaching his eldest nephew, Jace, everything he knew about the outdoors.  The only thing that he loved more about the outdoors was riding his father’s Harley.  This was his release for being let “free” and riding with his Pops. Cody always had a happy-go-lucky attitude and always had a smile on his face.  On September 30, 2016 this smile was the biggest that anyone could see.  He married the love of his life, Nazneen Malik, an angel sent from above.  His life was complete. Cody is survived by his wife Nazneen (Malik) Bensel; his mother Sandy Turner and her husband, Cory “Ump” Turner; his sister Stephanie Rose Tutty and her husband Josh Tutty; and his three nephews Jace, Maxim, and Bronxton.  and the entire Malik Family; Cody is also survived by the thousands of “Brothers” that will never let his memory fade. Joey Fuchs and Sammy Kneebone, his best buds were always at his side. His dog Layla, loyal hunting partner, will continue to hunt pheasants in his honor. He was predeceased by his father Mark Bensel.
