Clay Allen Funk, 60, of Stroudsburg, passed away on July 7, 2018 at the St Lukes Hospital, Monroe Campus. Born March 25, 1958 in East Stroudsburg, the son of the late Joseph Allen and Elizabeth (Weaver) Funk. He was a lifetime resident of Monroe County. He worked as a Mason, and did tree work. Clay enjoyed fishing and anything in the outdoors. He was an animal lover and loved his music. Clay loved his children and grandchildren and was the proud father of Monica Heller and her companion Dan of Mayfield, Jessica Flannery and her husband Keith of Stroudsburg, and Mercedes DeLillo and her husband Mark of East Stroudsburg. His grandchildren Teya Heller, Megan Kausmeyer, Thomas Heller, Evan DeLillo, Zoe Kausmeyer, Aden DeLillo and Alivia Flannery. He is also survived by his sisters Janice Funk, Dawn Funk, Jody Guida, and his stepdaughter Barbara Evans, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Kevin Funk. There will be a visitation on Monday July 16, 2018 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg.
