Christine Diane Stout

Christine D. Stout, 73, passed away at home on June 16, 2024. She was born November 30, 1950, in East Stroudsburg to Joseph and Margaret Christman.

Christine was a lifelong resident of the East Stroudsburg/Stroudsburg area and dedicated most of her life to taking care of her family.

She was the loving wife of Joseph R. Stout for 57 years. In addition to her husband she is survived by her 3 daughters, Melissa Mullaney, Michele Petersen, Laurie Petersen, and son Joseph D. Stout, all of Stroudsburg, PA. Christine had 8 grandchildren, Anthony, Evelyn, Kenneth, Nathan, Isabelle, Wyatt, Emelia, and Alice, plus one great-grand daughter, Ava

She is also survived by 3 of her sisters, Gloria Ludwig, Janette Christman and Darlene Christman and her brother Steve Christman.

Christine is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Margaret, her 2 brothers, Joseph and Brian, as well as her grandson Anthony.

Christine enjoyed every bit of the little things in life from watching birds to planting her favorite flowers or just enjoying a good book. Family beach vacations at Cape May were always highlighted by having her grand children help her search for sea glass along the shore and gazing at the sunsets.

Christine’s family will be having a private celebration of life at a later date.
