Charles William Jony Iii

Charles William Jony III, 58, of East Stroudsburg passed away unexpectedly on Sunday February 11, 2024, at his home. He was the husband of Terri (Nase) Jony.
Born November 11, 1965, in East Stroudsburg, the son of the late Charles William Jony Jr. and Joan (Ellison) Koehler of Lawrenceville, Georgia.
He grew up in Bergen County, New Jersy, and he graduated from Bergen Tech and went on to become a skilled and master tradesman in both woodworking and construction. His passion for detail is what made him both unique and one of a kind. His work can be found from Buck Hill Falls and throughout the entire East Coast.
He is survived by his sons, Coty William Jony and his fiancé Samara Bush and Travis Charles Jony and his fiancé Ashley Rehm, both of Monroe County. He is also survived by and will be remembered most as a pop-pop who loved his grandchildren with all his heart, and they are Grace and Aiden who were his heart.
He is also survived by his mother Joan (Ellison) Koehler and her husband Robert of Lawrenceville, Georgia; and his 2 brothers Christopher and Steven Jony; as well as several nieces and nephews.
There will be a viewing on Saturday February 17, 2024, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg.
