Charles Dyson, 91, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Tuesday February 15, 2022 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono. Born July 31, 1930 in Pocono Pines, the son of the late Freeman and Mary (Wilson) Dyson. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the Analomink United Methodist Church. He was awarded a Quilt of Valor and was also a member of the Sovereign Grand Inspector General of Scranton Scottish Rite and American Legion of East Stroudsburg. He worked as a machinist for the former Ronson Lighter Corp in Delaware Water Gap, Union Metal and he later worked as a custodian for the East Stroudsburg School District. He is survived by his sister Pauline Dailey of Tobyhanna, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Barbara and by his 12 siblings. There will be a viewing Tuesday March 1, 2022 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with funeral services at 2:00pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with Pastor Jen Miller officiating Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Analomink United Methodist Church In Memory of Charles Dyson, PO Box 461, Analomink PA 18320
