Brigid Kavanagh nee Henighan 85, of East Stroudsburg passed away October 7, 2024.
The daughter of the late James Heneghan and Ellen (Morris) Heneghan.
Brigid was born in Galway, Ireland September 10, 1939.
She married the late William P Kavanagh.
She enjoyed spending time with family Grandchildren and Great grandchildren and keeping up to date on all current events.
Spent many years caring for children in New York.
She was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church Astoria, New York
She was survived by Her Son Peter daughter in law Ann. Grandchildren Majella, Paul, Conor, Colin. Great grandchildren Eoin and Ava. Sister Marie brother-in-law Pat. Sister-in-law Margaret. Brothers Martin, Michael sister-in-law Ann. Brian sister in law Mary Nieces and Nephews
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents James and Ellen her brothers Patrick and Johnny.
There will be a viewing on Friday, October 11 from 1:00pm until 4:00pm at Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania: with a Catholic prayer service beginning at 2:30 which Father Williams officiating.
