Brian Keith "Barney" Bush

Brian Keith “Barney” Bush, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Saturday November 30th,

2024, unexpectedly in the comfort of his home.

Born August 21, 1966 in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Carl W. Sr and

Lois M. (Counterman) Bush. He was a resident of East Stroudsburg for his entire life.

Brian enjoyed spending his free time exploring New York City, fishing in the creeks, spending

time with friends and family, cheering on his beloved Steelers and practicing his Catholic faith at

the Church of Saint Luke in Stroudsburg.

Brian is survived by his Children Brandi Bush, Keri Gangale and her husband Anthony Gangale

Jr. Grandchildren Lilee Kyttle, Liam Gangale, Landon Riley, and Kaylee Riley. Siblings Carl

Bush Jr., Ollie Bush and his wife Karen, Deborah Bush Kopp and her husband John Kopp and

AnnaMae Bush. Nephews and Nieces Justin Bush, Matthew Bush, TaShira Sheftal, and Joseph

Bush. Several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Brian was predeceased by his brother David W. “Biggs” Bush and

Frank “Frog” Bush.

Brian was loved deeply by all and will be dearly missed.

The Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg is in charge of the

arrangements.

The family will be holding a mass and a celebration of life in the spring.
