In Loving Memory of Beverly A. Treible
A servant to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and a woman devoted to her family, Beverly transitioned
on December 06, 2023. She leaves behind her husband, Ernest “Pete” Treible of 60 years.
Born and raised with a solid foundation in love to the late Everett and Helen (Howell) Young in Scranton,
PA and a graduate of Stroudsburg High School. She retired from the DRJTBL at the Delaware Water Gap
Toll Bridge. Her meticulous nature led her passions of maintaining order in her house and creating
unmatched recipes of meals and baked goods. Over the years, her heart protected the lives of many
stray cats. Lucky ones got adopted or placed with others.
In addition to her husband, Pete, she is survived by her son, Kevin Treible of Kunkletown, PA and her
daughter, Donna and son-in-law Christopher Charles of Long Island, NY; her two grandchildren, Shawn
and Brandon Charles of Long Island, NY; her sister, Lois and brother-in-law Bruce Linkhorst of
Northhampton, PA; her many cousins and a precious cat, Shelby.
While her absence has left a huge void, her immeasurable devotion to her family and influence over
their lives will ensure her spirit lives on through the love and values she instilled in each and every one.
Her family and friends were blessed to have had her in their lives for the time given.
At Beverly’s request, there will be no services. Cremation was entrusted to the Bensing-Thomas Funeral
Home in Stroudsburg, PA. Memorial donations can be made to the Animal Welfare Society of Monroe
County (AWSOM) at 3129 Godfrey Ridge Drive, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
