Arthur Vanburen Martin Jr.

Arthur V Martin Jr passed away peacefully on Saturday February 24th surrounded by his loving family.

Arthur was born in Morristown Nj on August 20th, 1950, to Arthur Martin Sr and Lois Gore. He attended Morristown High School. He and his wife Laura Martin had just celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary on January 15th. Arthur worked shipping and receiving for Honeywell Inc. Arthur was a one of a kind and loving, husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed word searches, taking walks with his grandson, spending time with his family, playing games with his grandchildren, watching his favorite TV show reruns and enjoying the outdoors in the summertime.

Arthur is survived by his faithful and loving wife of 41 years Laura J Martin of Stroudsburg, two sons William Martin of Scranton, Jason Martin and his wife Erica of Scotrun. A daughter Tara Martin of Stroudsburg Pa. Granddaughter Hailey Martin and grandson Jason Martin Jr. Two brothers Floyd Martin and his wife Carmen of Freeland. Donald Martin and his wife Lois of hickory NC, a sister Cathy Counterman of Sebring FL and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents Arthur and Lois Martin, Sisters Cindy and Beverly.

A celebration of life service will be held for Arthur on March 6th, 2024, from 4-6 pm. At Bensing-Thomas funeral home.
