Arthur A Sussmeier, Jr., 63, of Bushkill, Pa, died suddenly on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at home. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey, he was the son of Arthur A Sussmeier, Sr. and Janet Sussmeier, both deceased. He was currently retired from a career of over 20 years as Database Engineer for Trisept Solutions, Inc., Apple Leisure Group, and Travel Impressions, Inc. He was a former Firefighter and EMS technician, for several townships. He enjoyed spending time with family, whom he loved dearly, learning about programming, and working on computers. He had a strong passion and love of music, music trivia, and playing his drums. He once was drummer in Last Hoorah Classic Rock band, playing in Carbon County and Lehigh Valley, PA. He is survived by his lifelong friend, of 30 years, Raymond Polzer, daughters Stephanie Sussmeier, and Amanda Solheim, wife of Eric Solheim. Grandchildren, Aidan, Blake, and Isabella. Nieces, Alberta Vogel, Florence Francesconi, Roxanne McGehee Preceded in death his sisters, Madeline Francesconi, Florence Scott, Judith Seibert and beloved Ex-wife Susan Sussmeier. Viewing will be held Saturday February 19, 2022, from 11am to 12pm, Followed by a service at Bensing- Thomas Funeral Home located at: 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg, PA. 18360. Burial will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery located at 115 Wall Street, West Long Branch, NJ. Monday February 21, 2022 at 12pm.
