Antonio Ricardo Gonzalez

Antonio (Tony) Ricardo González, 73, of East Stroudsburg passed away on Tuesday February 17, 2026. He was the loving husband of Luz E. (Román) González, they were married for 51 years on January 29, 2026.

Born December 25, 1952, in Santurce, Puerto Rico, the son of Lucas and Millicent (Harrison) González. He was a resident of Monroe County for the past 30 years, and prior to that of Brooklyn, New York.

He was of the Catholic Faith.

Antonio was a member of the Electrical Engineers Association as well as a retired Construction Manager for Metro-North Commuter Railroad in New York.

Tony loved all sports but especially his Baltimore Orioles and Washington Commanders. An avid cigar collector and a bourbon connoisseur, he enjoyed sharing his knowledge at various cigar events.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Cynthia Porras, sons Hector Javier González and Lucas Antonio González.

As per his wishes, there will be no services at this time. The Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg is in charge of his arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, American Red Cross and/or the American Heart Association.
