Anna Mary Lewis

Anna Mary Lewis, 75, went to heaven on April 8, 2019 to be with her only child, her son Scott who passed away on June 5, 2016. She was born December 18, 1943 in Ringtown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Eleanor and Gordon Weikel. She was of the Catholic Faith and a member of St Matthews Church. Anna enjoyed bingo and had many jobs, the last being at Haband before losing her sight. Anna is survived by her 2 grandsons who loved her dearly, Cameron Weikel and Curtis Weikel of East Stroudsburg. Also surviving are her brothers James and Gordon Weikel and her sister Mary Zimmerman. Since Scott’s passing, Anna has been a resident of the Meadows at Stroud in East Stroudsburg, the family would like to thank the staff, especially her special aide, Allison Bond who gave her the special care that she deserved A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday April 13, 2019 at 10:00am at the Church of Saint Matthew, 78 Ridgeway Street, East Stroudsburg. Cremation will follow There will be a visitation on Saturday from 9:00am until the time of the Mass at church. Burial of her cremated remains will be at the convenience of the family in Ringtown, Pennsylvania.
