Ann Louise Lichtenwalner, 82, of Pocono Township, passed away on Friday December 29, 2017 at her home. She was the wife of the late Byron D. Lichtenwalner, who died January 31, 2008. Born October 23, 1935 in Bartonsville, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Alice (Halstead) Frailey. Ann graduated from Mansfield University Ann was also a longtime member of the Pocono Garden Club, where she also held many offices, including President, and made many strong friendships there. She was a faithful and active member of the Faith United Methodist Church, Stroudsburg where she enjoyed signing with the choir. A consummate musician virtually all of her life, Ann had a beautiful solo voice and performed too many times to count. She also loved playing the piano and violin. Ann would say, "Music fills my soul." Ann is survived by her son Craig Arthur Lichtenwalner and his wife Gretchen of Windsor, Colorado, her daughters Dawn Shiels and her husband Tom of Boston, Massachusetts, and Sherry Lichtenwalner of Newtown, Her grand daughter Bretta Bay Lichtenwalner of Windsor, Colorado. She is also survived by her sister Claribel F, Sebring of Pocono Township. Memorial funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 2, 2017 at 10:00am at the Faith United Methodist Church, 1160 Clause Drive, Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania with Rev Candy LaBar, Pastor officiating. There will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American diabetes Association 65 East Elizabeth Avenue, Suite 502, Bethlehem PA181018
