Anita L. Focke

Anita L. Focke, 78 of East Stroudsburg passed away on Friday December 28, 2018 at the Gardens at Stroud.  She was the wife of the late Richard B Focke, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage at the time of his death on April 17,2018. Born April 19, 1940 in Stroudsburg the daughter of the late J.Archibald "Archie" and Anna (Shook) Ace.  She was a resident of Monroe County for her entire life. Anita is survived by daughters Sandy J. Lee and husband William of Nazareth, PA and Tina J. Aylin and husband Edward "Mac" of Cumming, GA.;  four grandchildren Amanda (Lee) Disidore and husband Joseph, Jeremy Lee and wife Haley, Nathaniel Lee and Jessica Aylin; two great granddaughters Briella and Annalia Disidore;  brother,  James Ace and wife Marion of Stroudsburg; two sisters, Margaret Werkheiser of Stroudsburg, and AnnaJane Meckes of Stroudsburg; and many nieces and nephews. Anita was preceded in death by her son Rodney Jon Focke;  five siblings;  Adalyn Harps Transue, Marion Kirkhuff Hunt, Helen Smith, Robert Ace and William Ace. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 2, 2019 at 11:00 am at the  Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 N. 5th Street, Stroudsburg, with Pastor Lynda Keefer officiating,  followed by a burial service at Custards Cemetery, Bartonsville There will be a viewing on Wednesday January 2, from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home .
