Amy L. Mayers

Amy L. Mayers, 42, of Wind Gap, passed away on Saturday September 18, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Todd Mayers, they were married fir 27 years. Born October 31, 1978 in Easton, the daughter of Robert Karner of Kunkletown, and the late Diane (Houck) Karner. She was a member of Bender’s Mennonite Church of Plainfield Township. She was employed by Martin Guitar of Nazareth and also as an aide for Maxim Home Care. She liked to play bingo, and loved to go shopping; was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She liked to go to Christine’s softball games and also bowling leagues. In addition to her husband, Amy is survived by her daughters, Christine Mayers, Makayla Mayers and Makiyah Mayers; her sisters Heather Hunter, and Ann Everett; her brother Andrew Karner She is also survived by her father in law Earnest Mayers; her sister-in-law Lori Shuman and her husband Alfred; 5 nieces, 2 nephews and 1 great niece that was her goddaughter. As per Amy’s request there will be no services at this time, the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg is in charge of the arrangements.
