Allen E Kochera

Allen Eugene Kochera went to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ, on January 14, 2022. He was born on July 31, 1950 at home in Mountainhome, PA, a lifelong resident of Monroe County. He graduated from Pocono Mountain High School in 1968 and then attended ESU and Temple University. For 18 years Al worked for Blue Ridge Cable TV and then took over the family business, Sunset Mobile Home Park. Al and his wife Janice Hilliard Kochera, celebrated 46 years together last May 31. A long-time do-it-yourselfer he taught himself car mechanics and actually built his own house. He always loved to sing and had a beautiful tenor voice,mostly singing in church choirs. He was very proud of his children ,Timothy Kochera, Ruth Kochera and her husband Chris Beckhorn, Erin Kochera and her husband, Fatmir Gashi, Patrick Kochera and his wife, April Christensen. Also surviving are 11 much-loved grandchildren Myr'ina , Rivin, Lilka , Berlewen, Haze ,Gracyn, Drakaela. Odinn , Aralia, Elira and Anella; and devoted nephew and niece Dakota Brown and Sierra Brown. His parents were the late George and Iva Kochera. He was preceded in death by a sister, Kimberly Kochera-Brown and a brother, George Kochera, Jr. Surviving siblings are Ronald Kochera and Virginia Green. Contacts with people in the community were very important to him and he made it a point to remember names of them all. Memorial Service Jan 29 at Berean Bible Fellowship Ch.
