Alice T. Mcguire

Alice T. McGuire, 74, of Stroudsburg, passed away on Friday November 6, 2020 at Whitestone Care Center, Stroudsburg. She was the fiancé of the late Edward Schleinkofer, who died December 9, 2005. Born October 3, 1946 in Brunswick, Germany. She was a member of the Salvation Army in East Stroudsburg, where she volunteered at many of the Army’s functions Prior to her disability, she worked as a waitress at the former Kmart Restaurant in East Stroudsburg. Alice is survived by her son Shawn McGuire and his Finance Lisa Transue; her daughter Adriann Burkholder and her husband Terry; her grandchildren James, Justin, Anthony and Brianna; and her great grandchild Kaiden There will be a visitation on Thursday November 12, 2020 from 12:00noon until the time of a memorial service at 1:00pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with Major Gilbert Parkhurst officiating. Burial will follow in the Stroudsburg Cemetery.. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in care of the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg PA 18360
