Alberta Y. Hendgelon

Alberta Y. Hedgelon, 67, of Stroudsburg, passed away on Wednesday November 9, 2016 at the St Luke’s Hospital, Monroe Campus. She was the wife of William Hedgelon. Born December 13, 1948 in East Stroudsburg, the daughter of the late Ernest and Theresa (Rinker) Weiss. She was a lifetime resident of Monroe County. Alberta is survived by her daughters Pamela Hedgelon and her fiancé’ Scott Caramella, and Susan Hachemeister and her husband Bill of Stroudsburg; her grandson Tyler Caramella. She is also survived by her brother Brian Weiss and his wife Cathy; and her sister Carol Burham and her husband Christopher; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 15, 2016 at 7:00pm with a visitation from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with Pastor Margie Good officiating.
