Patricia Lynn Lovuolo, 70, went to be with our Eternal Savior on the evening of Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia surrounded by loved ones. Patricia was born to Alfred Hillman and Stephanie (Sawicki) Hillman in South River, NJ on July 4th, 1947. She was married during a hurricane to Joseph Anthony Lovuolo, which fit their two unconventional personalities well. They were happily married for over 40 years until the passing of Joseph in November of 2009. She was faithfully involved in St. Mary’s on the Mount in Mount Pocono, PA. Patricia brought the most genuine joy to her family with her infectious sense of humor and compassionate soul. She had the amazing ability to breathe out hospitality by giving everyone she met a sense of belonging. She loved everyone wholly and completely no matter who they were or where they had come from, family, friends, and strangers alike. Patricia spent her life studying history by reading countless historical novels while enjoying a never-ending cup of black coffee. She paused only to watch the birds fly by her porch, so she could echo their calls to one another. Nobody could meet Pat and walk away unchanged, especially if she offered them a piece of her cheesecake. There is no doubt that she will be serving it at Heaven’s Thanksgiving dinner. She was preceded by her father, Alfred Hillman, her sister, Barbara Hillman, her husband, Joseph Anthony Lovuolo, and son, Kenneth Michael Lovuolo. Patricia is survived by her mother, Stephanie Hillman, her brother and his wife, Bruce and Vicki Hillman of Silver Springs, New Mexico, her four sons, Anthony Lovuolo of Palmerton, PA, Robert and his wife, Ann Lovuolo of Nazareth, PA, Joseph and his wife, Pamela Lovuolo of Sciota, PA, James “Jay” Lovuolo and his wife, Annita Lovuolo of Port Charlotte, FL, and daughter, Dawn and her husband, Mark Fabian of Savannah, GA, as well as her grandchildren, Justin Lovuolo, Christopher and his wife, Karen Lovuolo, Brian and his wife, Abigail Lovuolo, Adrianne Lovuolo, Samantha Ostrander and her significant other, Randy Wilson, Nicolette Velasquez, Luciano “Luca” Lovuolo, and Charlotte Lovuolo. A visitation time will be held at Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5h Street, Stroudsburg on Sunday, November 26th, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and the funeral services will be held at Saint Anne's Church, Tobyhanna at 10:00am om Monday, November 27th with entombment will follow at the Mountain Laurel Mausoleum at Laurelwood Cemetery in Stroudsburg.
