Errol Ralston Bailey

We are heartbroken to announce the death of our beloved husband, father and brother, Errol Ralston Bailey, he was born October 2, 1946, in Westmoreland, Jamaica. Errol passed away peacefully on October 29, 2022, in the company of loved ones at home in Long Pond, Pennsylvania.

Beloved husband of Olga, father to Natesha, Michael, Jonathan and Jessica; grandfather to Madison and Brandon. He was the 10th of 11 children.

Errol migrated to the United States in the late 1960s and spent over 30 years working for the United Nations in New York.

Earlier this year he suffered an irreversible assault on his heart from which he succumbed. As is his personality, he gave it a good fight.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the professional caregivers of St. Luke’s Hospice who assisted his family in caring for him at home and granting his wish to be home with his loved ones.

Many have reached out and asked how you can help us during this time. Know that your greatest kindness is much appreciated as we navigate this heartbreaking moment.

Services will be held on Saturday November 5, 2022, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with a viewing from 12:00 noon to 1:00pm at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg.
