At 5:33 am Wednesday February 27th our patriarch Charles Martin Teada of Henryville peacefully passed away at 85 years of age. Charlie was born in Bethlehem Township June 26th 1934 to John and Madelyn (Martin) Teada. He was raised in Stroudsburg and graduated from Stroudsburg High School. As an adult he lived and raised his family in Henryville. He worked at Patterson Kelly Corp for 42 years, starting his career as a machinist, and later becoming the shop foreman. He retired in 1994. At 5:33 am Wednesday February 27th our patriarch Charles Martin Teada of Henryville peacefully passed away at 85 years of age. Charlie was born in Bethlehem Township June 26th 1934 to John and Madelyn (Martin) Teada. He was raised in Stroudsburg and graduated from Stroudsburg High School. As an adult he lived and raised his family in Henryville. He worked at Patterson Kelly Corp for 42 years, starting his career as a machinist, and later becoming the shop foreman. He retired in 1994. His loves in life include his family, gardening, his cabin, woodworking and his annual hunting trips to Maine. He leaves behind his wife Margaret (Dymond) Teada, of Canadensis, daughter Ginny Montgomery and her husband Buster, of Fayetteville NC, son Chris and his wife Cindy of Henryville, son Danny and his wife Renee, of Gouldsboro, daughter Margie Teada-Kiernan and her husband Brian of Henryville. Step children Steve Rhule of Hemlock Farms, Tom Rhule of Blakeslee and Lisa Place and husband Jeff of Canadensis, former daughter in law Janelle Rhule. Grandchildren Jeff Hay. Holly Marks, Brian Hall, Kimberly Hall, Scott Teada , Shannon Teada, Justin Teada, Josh Kiernan, Sarah Kiernan and Jessica Rhule He also leaves behind nine great grandchildren and Sister Carol Baird and her husband Bob of Reeders, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his granddaughters Amy Salas and Mandy Teada, and his brother Howard Teada. A special thanks to all the special people from Compassionate Care hospice for making his final days peaceful. There will be a visitation on Saturday March 2, 2019 from 11:00am to 12:00pm with a memorial service at 12:00pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with Pastor Dorothy Stem officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Analomink United Methodist Church POBox 461, Analomink PA 18320, Compassionate Care Hospice, 237 East Brown Street, East Stroudsburg PA 18301 or to the charity of one’s choice
