Catherine O'Brien

Catherin O’Brien, 90, of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday April 25, 2023, at St Mary Villa Nursing Home, Lansdale. She was the wife of the late Brendan O’Brien, from County Clare, Ireland, he passed November 7, 1995.

Born November 23, 1932, in Glasgow, Scotland, the daughter of the late John and Sarah (Neil) Queen. She emigrated to the United States in the early sixties and moved to the Poconos in the early seventies and was a resident of the Pocono Heights Community of Marshalls Creek

Catherine is survived by her sister Lilly in England, numerous nephews, nieces and cousins in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Ireland, also her good friends James and Mary Mullen, and the Turner family.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 2, 2023, at 11:00am at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg.

There will be viewings on Monday May 1, 2023, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and on Tuesday May 2, 2023, from 10:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in the Laurelwood Cemetery, Stroudsburg
