Alberta J. Hanlin

Alberta J. Hanlin, 85, of Hamilton Township, passed away on Sunday January 21, 2022 at the Mountain City Health Care Center, Hazelton. She is the wife of Robert Hanlin, they were married for over 50 years. Born in Stroudsburg on September 8, 1936, the daughter of the late Ray and Mildred (Berger) Everitt, she was a lifetime resident of Monroe County. She worked as a lunch lady for the Stroudsburg Area School district for many years. She was a member of St John’s EC Church, Bartonsville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Todd Hanlin of Brodheadsville; her granddaughter Danielle Faust and her husband Michael of Wind Gap, her great grandchildren Gracelynn and Madilynn Faust, her brothers Richard Everitt of Stroudsburg, Ronald Everitt of East Stroudsburg and Albert Everitt Orangeville, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Joni Kay Weber who passed on January 10, 2022. Funeral services will be held on Friday January 28, 2022 at 11:00am at St John’s EC Church, 6014 Custards Road, Bartonsville With Pastor Paul Miller Officiating. Friends and family may call from 10:00am until the time of the services at church. Burial will follow in the Custard’s Cemetery. Bartonsville. The Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg is in charge of the arrangements.
